Not many people are familiar with what makes up a Beta nowadays. We're here to clear up exactly what DOMI's Beta is all about and what you can expect.
What is a Beta?
Think of a Beta a company's way of introducing a product to you in a limited way. That's what we're doing with DOMI. With the Beta you'll be able to experience many things that will be available at launch, but not exactly everything. There may be certain features that are missing, parts of the app that are inaccessible or don't work, and bugs and glitches that will get polished out over time. This is completely normal and is part of getting the service ready for the general launch.
What can I expect for DOMI's Beta?
For DOMI we are making the app available to a small group of customers and vendors so that we can closely monitor the app's performance. The app itself is available for download in the App Store and Google Play Store, but you may not see any shops if you are not in the designated Beta testing area.
For those that are able to shop on DOMI during the Beta, you can expect to see more shops added continuously as we work out any bugs and fixes the app might have during this period. You will be able to shop from a limited number of stores in all categories and complete purchases as normal.
How long will the Beta last?
Currently, there is no specific time frame for when the Beta will come to an end. Our idea is to continue to add shops, tweak the service, and improve the service based on your feedback. This means more shops, more products and a larger operating area over time for everyone.
How do I know if I can use DOMI during the Beta?
If you are in the Beta testing area you can simply input your address where prompted on the app and shops will appear for you in any selected category. If no shops appear, it is because DOMI still hasn't reached your area yet.
We look forward to continue improving DOMI and bringing you the best shopping experience on the market.
